Position:
TECHNICIAN COMMISSIONING - MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL/ INSTRUMENTATION:
1)    MECHANICAL: Assist in performing various activities related to pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of Mechanical systems such as: Compressors, Pumps, Turbines, Overhead cranes, Tanks & pressure Vessels, Heat exchangers, Process packages, Valves, HVAC. ! Assist in planning and execution of Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities of Mechanical Equipment such as: Solo Runs (with Electrical team), Lube oil / Seal Oil flushing and charging, Final Alignment of rotating equipment, mechanical seals adjustment during run-in, pulsation dampers Pressurized, belt drives adjusted, aligned and tensioned, vessels internals installed/adjusted, Chemical cleaning of equipment/suction lines, rotating equipment vibration/temperature Monitoring, Draw actual pump curve, monitor all equipment health during run-in, conduct Functional checks of equipment. ! Ability to preserve and maintain rotating equipment after equipment commissioning and start-up. ! Assist in implementing Preservation and Maintenance log books/check sheets as per project specific Procedure. ! Assist in organizing and monitor on-site valve testing activities. ! Assist in executing activities such as maintenance, repairs, preservation, troubleshoots. ! Execute oil filling, greasing, mechanical seal fitting, and gland filling/adjustment.
JOB: Responsible for installation, preservation/maintenance, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing of one or more systems as per work assignment. No cost/delivery impact.
MINIMUM REQUIREMNT: Diploma/ITI with Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry.

2)    ELECTRICAL: Ability to calibrate and maintain different instrument devices using latest testing equipment for level, pressure, flow transmitter, fire and gas detectors, analyzers sensors, pneumatic and motorized valves etc… ! Ability to read electrical document: Single line diagram, Equipment layout, schematic / logic diagrams, load list schedule, relay setting document , earthing/ lighting protection layout, cable schedule. Ability to trouble shoot any kind of electrical circuit and provide technical assistance to supervisors to ensure safe operability of the electrical equipment ! Find and remedies fault on electrical field equipment. ! Ability to assist in executing electrical SAT panels, energisation and functional testing of the electrical equipment. ! Ability to work on control system such SMCC, SCADA, RTU and understanding the serial communication protocol and tools (Modbus, TCP, IP) ! Ensures correct tool packages are available along with detailed comprehensive commission procedures for individual job.  Ensure that all commission activities are completed in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.

Ability to read instrument loop diagram, P&ID, interconnecting wiring diagram.  Ability to trouble shoot any kind of instrument and provide technical assistance to supervisors to ensure safe operability of the instrument. Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic installation. Find and remedies fault on field instrument Ability to assist in executing SAT/ Loop / functional test. Ability to work on control system such as advance process control (APC) , distributed control system (DCS), Programmable logic controllers (PLC’s), Emergency Shut Down system (ESD). Familiar with control strategy and control theory (PI/PID/Cascade/Split range control/ alarm managements/ etc…) Ensures correct tool packages are available along with detailed comprehensive commission procedures for individual job. Ensure instrument testing procedure is strictly followed by sub-contractor and record test results. Ensure that all commission activities are completed in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
